"I am currently developing the intersection of two concepts. On one hand, realistic figuration, and on the other, disruptive graphic representation. My working process begins by staining the canvas with acrylic saturations, and on that base, I mask the shapes I choose to retain with paper tapes or handcrafted stencils. From there, I start to patiently produce the figures with oil, passionately staining, seeking abstraction. In addition to these two concepts, tension is also placed on the confluence of materials, as the so-called "traditional" ones such as brushes and artistic spatulas coexist with engraving rollers, radiographic sheet stencils, and masonry spatulas. Regarding the themes of my paintings, they are always a puzzle of sessions from life and photographic images, thus, I collect everyday representations close to me, such as family, friends, spaces, pets."
