The Dead Sea in Israel has a special place in my heart, and it's where I found inspiration for "Sacred Portal." As a desert lover, I believe there's more to the barren land than meets the eye. It's a reminder of our human origins and a place where we can connect with our authentic selves. Being alone in nature provides a unique opportunity for self-reflection and personal growth. In the desert, I can be myself without societal pressures or the roles we play in our daily lives. ✔ The painting is signed on the front and back. It is on a gallery-wrapped canvas with finished black edges and comes ready to hang. "Sacred Portal" was created in 2014 as a fundamental part of the composition, at the Island Studio in Jerusalem. Later, I revisited and completed it in 2017 at the Otherworldly Dream Studio in Jerusalem. About the series "Second Silence": The "Second Silence" series is deeply connected to the man in nature, as its predecessor. However, it is more vibrant and intense in color than "First Silence," yet still maintains the hypnotic, dream-like quality of the earlier works. The landscapes are atmospheric and melancholic, effortlessly eliciting emotions. To shift the viewer's focus from the natural landscape, I have limited the familiarity of forms in the compositions. This approach invites the viewer to explore their own fantasies and imagination.
