Hello! I'm Alika, and my pseudonym holds special meaning: "A" stands for art, "Li" for Lily, and "Ka" for Kaluzhina. I was born in Ukraine, and now I live in Italy, where I devote myself entirely to my art. Sometimes it feels like I'm making up for lost time when I wasn't creating. I love trying new techniques and experimenting with different materials. It's so engaging that I can't settle on just one. My creative process is always an experiment. I do have favorites, though – oil paints and working with a palette knife. For me, creativity is like living in a parallel world that I can create myself. It's about emotions and feelings that can't always be expressed in words but can be painted on a canvas. Art for me is like air; I need it to feel happy. All artistic explorations and experiments are like new worlds where I challenge myself. For a long time, creativity was a hobby for me; I painted for friends, on commission, and simply based on my mood. I started my artistic career in 2018. My first significant exhibition was in Venice during the Venice Biennale in 2019. Since then, my paintings have traveled around Europe, visited the United Arab Emirates, as well as America and the United Kingdom. My works have been auctioned and published in prominent Italian catalogs. Many of my paintings have found homes and bring joy to their owners. You can learn more about my resume on my personal website. I sincerely thank you for visiting my page. I would be delighted to have you as followers. There are many new and unexpected works to be published. With deep respect, Alika.
