Born in Chernovitz, Ukraine, I studied Textile Arts and combined work of an art teacher with an artistic career before moving to Germany. I studied Arts at the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau and finally settled in Berlin as a freelance artist and art lecturer, exhibiting in Berlin, Arnstadt (Germany), Chernovitz (Ukraine) and Kiev. While living in Ukraine, my main focus was on figurative art. Moving to Germany was a great adventure and challenge, but first and foremost it had an enormous impact on my work as an artist. My perception of the art shifted as I turned towards the abstract, searching for my new self. But a person's identity consists of many fragments, and so both halves, both periods from my life forged to what I am now, how I see, how I paint. In my works you can see a strive for a symbiosis of realistic and abstract art. Coexistence of nature and mankind in context with the processes of globalization and technological progress. Lightheaded acrylic and defining ink. Between graphics and painting with a special focus on visual and sensuous impact of color in artwork perception and experience. Since 1989 Member in the Fine Arts Association Ukraine. Gallery Affiliation: Art Center Berlin Gallery, Germany.
