this is one of my painted poems. the key to understanding is the poem: Me, you, Munegu Shutters down tension up free to be here, between you and me my soul from a different universe space and time wants to travel thine sacred space between you and me one precious moment and we are finally free two souls intertwined connected by bonds surpassing the human mind God's presence for a short, meaningful moment- manifestation of the power of his creation Impossibilities and boundaries disappear just like the light of day- we both know it won't last it's all meant to fade away In your glare reflections of the Golden Square in your hands the keys to our last dance your presence instills hope long lost, paid to a life of immense cost the ability to believe we will find a way- it's there just long enough to withness the beginning of a new day Sainte Dévote appearing before my inner eye I turn to open the window to look at this blessed sky Sun's beams interrupt my peaceful dreams- I hear the sea, feel the breeze and realize, all I need is peace bye for now, my one- for tonight we are done I will return at dawn to rejoin all those dreams and hopes long gone now that you are far away I will admit to thee it was Sainte Dévote who guided me -showed me a way -cured my aching soul and filled that giant hole I gave my heart to her- it's safer there now I am spending my days looking to love in different ways warm air, sunshine and Grace are slowly taking your place so that one night I may no longer seek your ghostly embrace and one day the haunting me and you will turn into me and Munegu
