ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was walking on the beach as the tide was out and the water rivulets created these wonder faces. So I photographed it and took it home to paint it. I hope viewers delight in nature and its abstract designs ready for an artist to capture in paint, one fleeting momentary event wherein I found joy. I hope you too find joy in its quirky nature. The painting started as a watercolour bug I soon felt acrylics would better bring out its bright warm colours. But I like the soft underpainting it adds colour balance to the piece.

Renewed membership in Canadian Federation of Artists this year. Even though I have had another career I never stopped working as an artist. Now I am back to my art full time and it is such a joy.
