ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Its all about the ocean breezes, sound of the waves and the birds. Not just any birds, but the Sandpipers that play at the edge of the surf, looking for food. California is rich with beach critters. So naturally I wanted to capture a scene. This painting comes from Coronado Island, across the bay from San Diego. If you stand very quietly, and stare at my picture, you will hear the sound of the surf.
