This is a part of a series I painted called "Late in November". (title inspired by the novel by Tove Jansson) This painting has had many layers, a woman with closed eyes in many variations, her heart in her throat, the heart remained. Lighting struck, a plant appeared. This picture represent for me the awesome power of love, female energy, the darkness of winter.
