ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work was inspired by a photo my husband took of the harbor of Mallaig on the West Coast of Scotland. Mallaig is the terminus of the scenic West Highland Railway. I hope that it will arouse feelings and thoughts of awe for the beauty of nature. I was experimenting with oils and inspired by the beauty of the photo, which I tried to replicate as closely as possible.
