ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This fascinating creature is a Sea Dragon and is a relative of the Seahorse. Sea Dragons have plantlike extensions which actually aren't plants, just look like them. They serve as a camouflage to help hide the sea dragons from their predators. They are also capable of changing colors to blend better with their surroundings. In addition, they are able to stay still for up to 3 days and drift with the current.
