ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Its belongs to the series of works that refer to the most contemporary cuisine. The soft colours of this dish remember you the fine flavour of the meat of the sea bass. The cardoon stalks achieve that you submerge you between the clouds of cotton. I have done this digital painting with an MS Surface. I have used techniques analogous to traditional painting, using only the types of brushes and paints that the software offers me. Barcelona, 1978. I live and work in Barcelona. I love working with bright, saturated, electric, punchy colors in large format. I use materials such as solvent-free oil and acrylic. I also like to experiment with digital painting. Industrial landscapes and contemporary cuisine still lifes are my two main artistic lines.
