My name is Anastasia. I start painting somewhere in 1999, when my inner desire to be who I am became stronger and more important than my parents' desire to make their dreams come true in me. This is a time of rebellion and confrontation. Time to search for myself and self-affirmation of my personality. And so my journey to painting and drawing began. I live in Latvia on the shores of the Baltic Sea, in the seaside town of Liepaja. This city is called the city of winds. The wind always blows, and the sea never ceases to amaze with its grandeur and variety of forms. I really love to walk along the beach, enjoy the sea air and watch the big waves. At such moments, I rest and fill with the energy of nature. The beauty of the nature around me never ceases to amaze me with its shapes and colors. I always take my camera with me and photograph landscapes as a starting point in my paintings. So I have collected different collections of landscapes that inspire me. On the days when I want to take a break from painting landscapes, I take watercolors and start experimenting with color and shape. This is my meditation and immersion in myself as a woman and as a mother. The analysis of female psychology, observation of the physical changes in the female body throughout her life leads me to delight and admiration! The strength and energy of a woman is capable of performing miracles and healing ... My painting and drawing is my healing, my air through which I want to show you this wonderful and diverse world. My paintings are my art therapy, which helps to open my inner world and plunge into the depths of my feelings and experiences. This is the mirror of my eyes, which I share with you!
