About The Artwork
Painting: Oil on Canvas. The theme is based on a fun fair, something that brings back happy memories for many of us. Only, this is in another world, under the waves which can be fun as well. I thought of using the attractive seahorses bopping around in the same manner as we use the figures on a real carousel. In this case a coral table forms the merry-go-round with all the sparkling party bubbles to add to the atmosphere. I also used the blue fish as an impression of a colourful tent in the background with more colour all around and some movement with the swaying seaweed. All in all, what I would like to depict is a picture of fun, colour, light and an atmosphere we assimilate with the fun fair and dreams. A bit of fantasy that may bring some pleasant thoughts to someone. I hope you like it and thanks.

Jason is a painter and illustrator of various styles and different media for different ends.
