When suddenly the sky is covered with clouds, a strong wind flies, waves rise on the sea. At this point, it may seem that the water is boiling. This weather is very dangerous for sailors. Only the strong in spirit can overcome the rampant of the elements. Everyone who sailed on the sea, probably, at least once got into such a situation. The picture was painted under the impression of real events on the water, plus a little of the author's imagination and the romance of sailing ships. The picture was painted in the style of romantic realism, which is familiar to the author. Real colors, their brightness, saturation, contrast may differ from those shown in the photo due to color errors, differences in lighting, glare from light sources, reflexes from surrounding objects.

Due to the fact that I had to hastily leave my home under shelling, I was unable to take my collection of paintings from Ukraine. In Germany I began a new stage of my creativity. I am very inspired by the local landscapes and architecture. I travel a lot and sketch. Castles are of particular interest to me. These grand structures are beautiful.
