The title is a double entendre that refers to the increasing irrelevance of the US postal service and the need to speak your peace before the one whom you wish to speak to is gone forever.

Plain and simply put, I love to paint. There's a magical place where time is lost and my attention is acutely focussed on creatively expressing myself that is as close to nirvana as I can naturally achieve. I paint with bold color harmonies and heavy brush strokes. The hues are clean and the strokes deliberate. I'll occasionally use a palette knife when extra texture or when using heavy impasto. After studying a few years at University, I sequestered myself in my studio to refine my style and techniques. I honed my style though many years of practice and experimentation, private tutors, mentors, workshops, online tutorials and books. I continue to study and experiment with different tools and techniques. The subjects I choose are full of fun and flair. I like old things and tradition. I work in series that I group into collections to somewhat compartmentalize my interests. Currently I have two collections: Still Lifes, and Life Stills. Still Lifes is what you'd expect, the traditional still life painting but usually with a twist. Life Stills are paintings that freeze a moment in life to capture a memory of a time or place that was important to me or is a universal theme that would resonate with everyone. I catalogue my travels with an enormous collection of photographs of myriad subjects. If it catches my eye and I think it would make a great paintings, I shoot it.
