My artwork is a sequence of completely different stages of my emotional and mental development, one that is largely devoid of manners and relies on my intense emotional experiences and visions. I know that being an artist means devoting, some times sacrifice and I did. My paintings are the reflection of my inner space, my window to life and truth. At the same time, this sincerity manages to fit on the surface of canvas by the means of professional-logical brush strokes, and sometimes the interior just flows on the canvas without rational mediation. Sometimes art brings me to reality and usually this is what makes me feel alive and gives me a reason to live for. During painting I am trying not to frame my imagination inside the limits of academic art but to convey main meaning main message I have. At the same time, life has its own plans about us, and our life events change our lives, so that happened to me too, and in previous two years I began strongly believing that art can change social norms raise the questions and find answers. During last 2 years I think about existential problems, about social norms which determine our lives. I begun paying attention to such problems as cancer, and more than a year I am working on a project "Here I am, Phoenix". I paint women, and sometimes the whole story gets so personal that I start feeling the same aches, I reflect their pain, and I feel extremely depressed when one of my posing heroes dies. At the same time, this project and my art in general are about life, about winning, about love, passion to live, beauty of creating, and telling the world the story of human victory. My art also aims to empower women, because in my country gender equality problem still exists, and as an artist I can't stay indifferent to the problems of the society, through the means of my art I can raise my voice. Frequently, I am asked: what is art for you? And now I know- that is something like drinking water, having breakfast or just breathing, I mean, it is so natural that has become part of my essence and my inspiration to live.
