,,Childhood,, is one of the paintings in serie ,,Three Dreams,,. The first and the biggest painting in the serie is ,,Paradise,, and this came to me when I wanted to make something for an art competition. The image came as an vision and after finishing that one came those two other paintings in the same way. ,,Childhood,, is the beginning of everything. We are born and full of different emotions - excitement, joy, surprise, amaze, restlessness etc. We enjoy our childhood and the feeling of ease in the endless days. Even if our childhood was not the easiest one looking back we can still find this ease of being and enjoying the simple things. Like chasing butterflies, jumping into puddles, swimming and laughing alla day, bringing homeless animals home, painting our face with markers and steeling our sisters toys :-) Everyone has some fun and warm memories! And I really hope the painting reminds the viewer these happy days and maybe even encourages to do some silly stuff :-D Please note that the original painting has a golden frame and dimensions are taken with the frame. Without it the size is 15,74 x 15,74 x 0,59 inches!
