ABOUT THE ARTWORK

A painting from the series "Legends of Rome". The symbolism that permeates this work connects all the elements of the picture and connects them into one whole and reveals the underlying meaning. The picture is called "Waiting for Eve". The action takes place against the backdrop of the Roman Pantheon. God is giving life to Adam, and Eve is coming soon. Raphael's angels are watching everything that happens and waiting for the development of events. The serpent tempter (from rose petals), is already ready to offer Eve a taste of the forbidden fruit. The author offers the viewer a seat in the first row. Remembering what happened next, we become direct participants in these events.

"I aim to spread positivity and encourage people to take a moment to appreciate the world around them. Art should evoke joy, positive emotions, and a love for life." Vitaly Leshukov was born in Ukraine but has been residing in Spain for many years, which is reflected in his landscapes. However, he also successfully works in other artistic styles. The beginning of his artistic journey is quite intriguing: it started with a motorcycle accident followed by 5 days in a coma. After a challenging period of recovery and deep reflection on life, he felt an overwhelming urge to paint. His work symbolizes unwavering perseverance in the face of life's challenges. Vitaly's art is a breathtaking display of vibrant and contrasting color palettes, each evoking a powerful emotional response within the viewer. His preferred technique, impasto, involves the use of thick oil paint to create a mesmerizing interplay of texture and volume that contrasts with light, resulting in a captivating sense of movement and vibration on the canvas. His remarkable works are cherished in private collections and esteemed museums across the globe, including Switzerland, Taiwan, China, Ukraine, France, USA, Belgium, Israel, Kazakhstan, Ireland, and Spain. Furthermore, Vitaly has been a notable participant in numerous international exhibitions and prestigious art fairs.
