This is inspired by shadows...and how they come alive. Everyday I pass by the train gate, and see a shadow playing on the sidewalk below...I'm fascinated by how the shadow seems to take on a life of it's own, in this case, it seems to be a video game character bug, creeping by.

I’m obsessed with my personal collection of eccentric and nostalgic objects from the past. There’s so much inspiration there... From a design standpoint, the 60s and 70s were bold, eccentric and mod. As a kid, I was mad for those vibrant and electric posters, stickers, cards and soft sculpture. Those objects decorated my childhood then, and still do...I'm all about the POP. My work celebrates those fun retro styles that elicit joy and playfulness.
