Queen Farah Pahlavi, is the inspiration for me to create this collection. She, as the last queen of Iran, is the most influential person in the improvement of education, culture and art in contemporary history of Iran. She is the symbol of power ,resistance, hope and motivation for Iran and all those Iranians who have fought more than forty years for freedom and glory of Iran. She is a great artist and architect herself and her love for art ,culture and innovative developments in contemporary forms has had a great impact on Iranian’s knowledge and interest in contemporary arts. The dynasty of Pahlavi and specifically Shahbanou Farah Pahlavi are the creators of modern Iran and did the best of they could to promote education,humanity, culture, art and literature in Iran. This is a fact that has never been told to my generation and generations after us in Iran and me ,as an artist, feel a huge responsibility to reflect it in my art. I made my best to make it as real as possible and the medium of oil painting in my idea is the best for this purpose. I wish to finish it with the famous saying of Shahbanou herself, as she always rise the seed of hope in the hearts of Iranians by saying : ” The light will overcome the darkness” (Note: delivery of this item is in 7-8 weeks.)
