I was born in England and currently live in Hertfordshire with my husband, three children and two dogs. I love bright colours and am drawn to artists who exaggerate the colours of what they are painting, the influences of Leonid Afremov and Julie Dumbarton are obvious in my work. I paint in acrylics and more recently I have started using inks. I love the loose, unrestricted flow of inks and the fact that you can't always control where it goes! I love studying faces, which I guess comes from my face art and makeup background, and have done a collection of strong female faces called "The Many Faces of She" each one having her own identity and character. I also love to paint abstract style landscapes, as well as totally abstract pieces for people to lose themselves in.
