Mark is a British artist/actor residing in Vancouver, Canada. Mark James is a self taught British artist who began painting in 2014. He draws inspiration from the mystery and anonymity of what can be seen or imagined beneath the shadows. An occasional colourful abstract breaks up streaks of contrasting black and white paintings with streams of light casting dark shadows on the subjects form. Mark is also an actor for the pure sake of raw emotionality. His hope is that the same power, passion, lust and emotion is transferred into his art and projected into the viewer.
