ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The importance of shelter, of feeling protected from abuse, and sheltering those in danger has never been more important than in the last few months. Events coinciding with Covid-19 have inspired a series of artworks based around the need for nurture and shelter, this being the first. The fragility of the situation and transparency is reflected in watercolour and layers of colours which weave amongst the stark black lines of paint and ink.
