Shem Creek: Fall Low Country Marsh Part II Print

Teresa is an artist from Waxhaw, NC, working in oils, acrylics, and mixed media. While much of her skill is self-taught, she has taken numerous art classes and workshops in North Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama throughout her 25 years of painting, Her earlier works focused more on realism, but she has recently been experimenting with abstract, palette knife and cold wax painting. In recent years, workshops/classes with artist such as Lydia Randolph, Kim Maselli, Joni Purk and Judy Crane have enriched her work. She is currently accepting new commissions and is always open to new challenges. Her paintings hang in local businesses and in the homes of numerous art collectors across the nation. Teresa lives in Waxhaw, NC, with her husband, two children, and two dachshunds. Artist Statement: I love painting a variety of subject matter, but I am especially fond landscapes and waterscapes adding bold color where possible. I strive to capture the unique beauty of nature using bright colors and contrast. I revel in the beauty of our Creator that surrounds me wherever I go. My hope is that others can enjoy His beauty through my work.
