"Shimmer" Print

Art is an essential part of who I am. I have been drawing and painting since early childhood, and for the past decades I have worked actively as a visual artist. I hold a Master’s degree in Philosophy and have also completed studies in fine art, which strongly influence the conceptual depth of my work. Alongside my artistic practice, I work as a freelance journalist and caregiver, and I currently serve as the Chair of the Äänekoski Artists’ Association in Finland. I have participated in numerous group exhibitions in Finland and abroad, with my work shown in major cultural venues as well as international galleries, including exhibitions in Berlin. In 2024, I held two solo exhibitions, and my work continues to be exhibited in galleries across Finland. My paintings can be described as abstract realism — a fusion of fantasy, dream imagery, and aesthetic exploration. I am drawn to bold colors, mystery, and the unfamiliar, creating works that move beyond everyday reality. Through my art, I seek to offer new emotional landscapes and alternative visions, inviting the viewer into worlds where imagination is free from convention and the visible world no longer sets the limits.
