Gago (Gagik Arakelyan Martirosyan) was born in Armenia in 1965. In 1975 he entered the renowned Akop Kodjoyan School of Art in the armenian capital of Yerevan. He graduated from Kodjoyan School of Art with honors in 1979. He receved specialised training in iconography in Moscow from 1983 to 1985. From 1987 to 1992 he attended the Yerevan University as a student of sociology abd philosophy. His marine paintings are generally inspired by the works of Ivan Aivazovsky and William Turner. Gago has a long array of accomplishments. His paintings have been exhibited in several countries like Spain, France, Russia and Armenia. He is a member of Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors.
