I Am a Chennai-based artist who has been painting for over two decades. Although I was working as a graphic designer and a visualiser, I have always had a passion and a keen eye for the fine arts and have continued to paint in various mediums. My paintings portray the day to day life around us. Apart from today's regular trend, my paintings are figurative having social themes. I Have had the rare opportunity of working with and learning from one of India leading contemporary artists, A.P. Santhanraj mentor and Guru since I was 12 and over the years while working with him, I've a Sound Knowledge about the usage of colour, form, balance, and other painting techniques. It's a privilege of being his only pupil.My awards include Oriental Art Award for water colour in the year 1985&1987. State academy award for Creative Painting, Chennai Anna University in the year 1988 , Lalith Academy in 1996,1997,1998,1999 also in India Southern Region Lion Club Award in 2003. In 2012 My works feature in private collections worldwide.
