It symbolises the impossibility to talk and the inability of the people around to hear you. It's also a symbol of the struggles a woman has to go through on her way to a successful life.

Adela is a visual artist and illustrator born in Romania where she studied art from a young age. In 2002 she moved to Canada where she lived for 9 years and studied Multimedia Design and Visual Studies. Presently, Adela lives in Spain and explores figurative art with oils as her medium of choice. She is creating portraits that focus on expressions, adding a hint of the feelings and soul behind the mask that is our face. She is continuously experimenting and finding ways to combine the traditional figurative realism with contemporary elements. Her mission is to send subtle messages through her artwork that awaken a connection in the spectator’s soul essence.
