Simplicity of the moment Print

I was always encouraged by my mother from a very early age to draw and paint what i see. She never pushed me to study art but let me create my own style. During my school period i took part in several art competitions but always thought of it as my hobby. I was one of the lucky people who got my first job right after school and at the same time i was offered a scholarship to learn and draw for a reputed art school. I took the job and never painted there after. I got married at the age of 27 to a very violent and abusive man who made me sick of life it self and even though i tried to draw as a way of escape he would tear the drawings or get rid of my paints claiming i messed up the house! After 5 years of misery and another one and half of years of trying to get away from it all i finally started drawing again. Now im so grateful for what i am able to create. And the peace i have within i know i portray in my paintings. This is only the start!
