ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My painting style is abstract. I am often inspired by fortuitous harmonies that lack intent, such as those that can be found on the walls of a big city: different layers of overlapping color and brush strokes, improvised on hard surfaces. I try to produce graphic and cromatic harmonies from within this disorder. It is my goal to capture on canvas, with each brush stroke, certain emotions: restlessness, the desire for motion, and a connection with positive and sustained mental states. The paintings are a record of my personal meditation process.
