Sleeping in white Print

I was born and educated in Ukraine. I consider myself to be a visual artist, although my practice also includes sculpture and a recent audio art piece. My works are mainly oil paintings on canvas, some use mixed media. I combine painting and graphics in my art and researches human body as a symbol for our inner selves. Im drawn to realistic painting, clean and dramatic composition with graphic detail. In earlier years I identified as a figurative artist, my 'Sleeping series', the most important part of my artistic practice still uses body painting a lot. I must admit that the strongest influence and experience that influences me as an artist and as a human being was the beginning of war in my home country Ukraine.
