In my work I have contemplated the irresistibility, the necessity and absurdity of social behaviour, attempting to create a mis-en-scene which intrigues and is both intentional and unsettling. Cultural differences influenced me. I like big canvasses and different medias; etching, lithographs as printmaking was my first media; watercolour, arcrylic. The visual concept of relationships; the curves and volume of bodies and heads; the angles of architecture denoting space and depth. I have been working on simplistic and stylised landscapes echoing symbolic trees from Europe and Australia. I now live on the south coast of NSW, Australia and the sea, surf and beach fill my eyes daily.
