My name is Anna Horvath. I grew up in Szentendre, a hungarian town known for it's artists (including my family). it was obvious to choose art as a profession. After high school, I found myself in Sopron, at the Institute of Applied Arts, where I graduated with a Master of Industrial Design Arts. After university I worked in my profession for many years, but since my kids were born I'm at home with them. In 2011 we moved to Switzerland where I had to find my way in a foreign culture. Here I started to paint, and I began to again see myself as an artist and to react accordingly to the world around me. Colours, textures, imagination and fairy tales are the most significant in my art. I never paint the same two times as I'm always experimenting on materials, technics etc. My artworks are from pure imagination many times inspired by kids.
