ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting is inspired by the complex society in which we live. Isolated from nature and the world we inhabit the world of colour becomes limited. I hope that the viewer could recognise the emptiness and desolation of urban living. The painting is in oil, this is a medium I prefer. The subject matter is dark but life sometimes is and art I feel must reflect the human state. I choose a figurative style as the human form and face fascinate me. .
