About the Artist

Bruno Badaro

Brazil

Bruno Badaró is a Brazilian visual artist born in São Paulo, where his artistic journey began in the streets through graffiti and urban art. What started as a fascination with the marks left on the city's walls evolved into a multidisciplinary practice that moves freely between painting, murals and large-scale interventions.

Rather than committing to a single technique or material, Badaró approaches each work as an independent idea. Oil paint, acrylic, spray paint and other materials are chosen according to the demands of the concept, allowing the work itself to determine its final form.

His paintings explore the relationship between urban culture, memory and contemporary life, balancing expressive gestures with strong visual narratives. The constant dialogue between the street and the studio remains at the core of his practice, where experimentation is valued above repetition.

Over the course of his career, Bruno Badaró has exhibited in Brazil and the United States, participating in international art fairs including Spectrum Miami during Art Basel Week, as well as exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles and California. His work has also been featured in public art projects and urban interventions, reinforcing his belief that art should exist both inside and outside traditional exhibition spaces.

Today, Badaró continues to develop new bodies of work while producing murals and commissioned projects, always guided by the same principle: every idea deserves the form that best allows it to exist.
