His work explores the intersection of conceptual composition and figurative narrative, often driven by an experimental approach. Working primarily in acrylic and mixed media, Popa creates expressive, layered compositions that evoke themes of memory, instinct, and the human condition. His visual language combines raw gesture with symbolic imagery, resulting in works that are both immediate and introspective. Each piece is conceived as a self-contained story, inviting the viewer into a personal and often ambiguous narrative space.
