Mira Bacgvarova - Fashion Artist Ever since I was 8 I knew I wanted to be different. I dreamed of being unique, free and inimitable with my look- like a theater on the street. The emotion of creating new unseen looks overwhelmed me. When I was 14 I enrolled in drawing classes and although I had the support of my mother, I knew that the path of an artist would not be easy. I drew a lot then and poured my soul out on the white canvas, which helped me get through my teenage years. My path to the National Academy of Art wasn't easy either, but I had no idea what was in store for me after that. The element of art overwhelmed me and without realizing it my time was passing in preparing for fashion shows, photo shoots, theater and of course painting. During this period I received many accolades and awards for the clothing designs I was creating. I was proud of myself. The combination of fashion and fine art came together in a beautiful balance. This is what made me free and happy. Art is that, the only thing that describes me most accurately. I've been creating art for over 25 years now and I would never choose any other path for myself. Through the paintings I create I describe my emotions and experiences. My art cannot be described in an exact frame because I am not the kind of person who sets boundaries. My art is freedom.
