Song of the Hoopoe Bird is a painting full of texture and little details. It is made using only watercolor and some gold leaf. The colors of this painting are very earthy in order to create a very mellow and somewhat sad feeling. This painting is 30 x 30 cm with approx. 1.5 cm boarder for better framing. Colors have been carefully layered to create these earthy/vibrant colors. Song of the Hoopoe Bird is a painting that is very close to my heart as it carries this sad feeling yet has that little bit of light and hope to it.
