" Sophia Wisdom ensemble" painting, which depicts the heart of Ukraine - St. Sophia Cathedral of Kyiv. This cathedral is a world-famous monument of architecture and monumental painting of Ukraine of the 11th century, located on Sophia Square in Kyiv. Built by Prince Yaroslav of Kyiv. The name of the Cathedral "Sofia" comes from the Greek word "sofia", which means "wisdom". Dedicated to the "wisdom of Christian teaching", the cathedral, according to the plan of the creators, was supposed to establish Christianity in Kievan Rus. Built as the main, metropolitan temple of Kievan Rus, St. Sophia Cathedral of Kyiv was in ancient times the public and cultural center of the state. Intermittently it was the residence of the metropolitans of Kyiv. Ceremonies of "enthronement" of princes on the Kyiv throne, and receptions of foreign ambassadors took place here; near the walls of St. Sophia's Cathedral, the Kyiv viche gathered(general meeting of citizens of Kievan Rus); At St. Sophia's Cathedral, chronicles were kept. It is the burial place of the great princes of Kyiv. The first known library in Kyivan Rus was created by Yaroslav the Wise. The picture is made in the style of impressionism and in the technique of the Kiyv art school, painted at the annual Sofia Plein Air-2021 in the heart of Kyiv. In November of the same year, it was presented for the first time at an exhibition on the territory of the reserve of Sophia of Kyiv - in the Zaborovsky Gate. Later, she became the winner of many competitions in which I participated and exhibited at all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions. The painting was sold to a private collection in the United States.
