Spanien. Wärme und weicher Sand, geschmeidige Briesse, Meeresrauschen. Wohl und Gemütlich ist es in der Wärme unter den Bäumen zu stehen und auf das Meer zu schauen, in die Weite und ins Blaue. Ungewiss, gefährlich und deswegen bezaubernd ist das Meer. Ölfarbe ist plastisch, glänzend und voll. Mein Motiv und meine Gefühle lassen sich am Besten in der folkloristisch-primitivistischen Form darstellen. Ich als Künstler stehe für puren und direkten Ausdruck. Spain. Warmth and soft sand, smooth breezes, the sound of the sea. It is comfortable and cozy to stand in the warmth under the trees and look at the sea, the vastness and the blue. The sea is uncertain, dangerous and therefore enchanting. Oil paint is plastic, glossy and full. My motive and my feelings can best be represented in the folkloristic-primitivistic form. As an artist, I stand for pure and direct expression.
