This work is part of an ongoing series inspired by the architecture and atmosphere of Spanish pueblos. The practice unfolds through a visual dialogue with the architecture and spatial rhythms of Mediterranean pueblos. Fragmented forms, textured surfaces, and the tension between planes and color shape layered abstract compositions. Rather than depicting specific places, the work transforms environment into atmosphere. A recurring presence within the paintings is a subtle “alien” figure — neither fully belonging nor entirely separate. This character embodies a state of in-between: a search for equilibrium within shifting landscapes, cultures, and identities. The compositions explore balance as a living process — fragile, dynamic, and constantly renegotiated. Originally from Ukraine and now based in Valencia, Spain, the artist left her home country in 2022 due to the war. After several months in Berlin, she relocated to Spain, where she continues to develop her practice. Her works have been exhibited internationally and are held in private collections.
