"Spider Man at museum" Print

Sometimes it happens that imaginative, bizarre, surreal images take shape in an artist's imagination and translate into painting. They are visions always present in the consciousness, in the imagination, in the places of the unconscious of the person who conceived them. In this painting the protagonist is once again a superhero. Once again portrayed in a moment of relaxation: in fact, Spider-Man has fled from his commitments to the world and has taken refuge in a museum. Unconcerned about being recognized by others, he mingles among the visitors, seized by a sudden desire to enter, at least for once, one of the many temples of art. The subject matter described falls within the strand of pop art. But the linguistic medium through which the scene is told has little to do with the latter. The artist draws from his repertoire by declining the pictorial image in a dynamic key, with mellow brushstrokes, intense colors and pressing accents... With the aim of telling a story while remaining faithful to the specific period that gave birth to it and of which this story is a child.
