Liz Lore was born and raised on a farm outside of Boston, Massachusetts and is currently based in Nova Scotia, Canada. Liz’s subject matter includes still life, florals and landscape that she abstracts to combine texture, line and form to push the boundaries of understanding and recognition. Her work (installation, photos and paintings) explores the links between humans and nature. Her paintings depict these themes, using grids, poured paint, and drawn lines to create abstract images that evolve intuitively into images reminiscent of landscapes or flowers.
