In painting the most important aspect to me are the colors; their harmony with one another, the concord of different sizes and streamlines of painted areas, their intensity, the depth of the color. When creating, I tend to shy away from constricting myself with pre-drawn/sketch out subjects. During the painting process I study the colors, similarly to how in music composers try to find consonance between sounds. Both in nature and in my daily surroundings I constantly notice some eye-catching accords of color. This can be anything from an evening's sky's and lake's contrast with the dark line of the horizon, to the way the light in the bathroom illuminates the tiled wall and the objects that stand forth it. This is how the creative process starts before the paint even hits the canvas. Since in painting I look more for color then some kind of form or subject, for me the style that I feel closest to is abstract art and more specifically abstract expressionism. In this genre I seek to create "living" art which/that could have a lot of inner energy but at the same time bring about some kind of overall motive, feeling or emotion, that would appear as a unique part of the piece. After finishing my studies, for a while I created ceramic pieces, put on exhibitions, did custom orders. I also have a lot of experience in the field of graphic design. I actively started painting only about 2 years ago. And that has brought a lot of lively stimulus and to my life, moreover I like sharing the results with my viewers.
