Diana Stelin is a Moldovan-American artist, educator, speaker, and founder of Diana Stelin: Art | Education | Design in Brookline, Massachusetts. Her evocative landscapes and mixed-media works explore themes of memory, belonging, and the fragile relationship between people and the natural world. Drawing on oils, encaustic, gold leaf, and layered textures, Stelin creates immersive environments that blur the boundaries between representation and abstraction. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Biennale, and is held in numerous private and corporate collections. Commissions and installations can be found in homes, businesses, and public spaces throughout the United States. Born in Chișinău, Moldova, Stelin immigrated to the United States as a teenager. She earned a BFA in Visual Arts from Cornell University and an MS in Arts Administration from Boston University. Her personal journey of navigating change, displacement, and identity continues to inform both her artwork and her teaching. In addition to her studio practice, Stelin is a passionate advocate for creativity as a tool for resilience, connection, and well-being. Through her SPARK Method™, she leads workshops, retreats, and keynote presentations that help individuals and organizations harness creative thinking to navigate change and prevent burnout. Today, Stelin's work spans the studio, the classroom, and the stage, united by a belief that creativity has the power to transform how we see ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
