I am an Australian artist based in the Riverina area in New South Wales Australia. My art is big and bold and focuses on colour and the impact of light and shade. I am by nature an impressionist who paints for a feeling rather than strict realism but I do branch out when inspired! I work in both acrylics and oils and my art is recognizable both by the pallete and brushstrokes I use. My interest lies in the area of colour and colour mixing and to push myself I generally work with a restricted palette of three colours and white. I am inspired by the works of Monet, Van Gogh, Turner and Picasso while the depiction of light and shade in the works of Renoir and Degas make my hearty sing. My work is currently held in collections internationally and I regularly participate in shows and exhibitions in Australia.
