About The Artwork

Stallions...Chariots of Hope and Power is an oil painting on canvas. Horses, as we know are great companions....and like their gait and speed, bring joy, hope and power into our lives. I always wanted to paint horses for their eyes hold a lot of compassion! This is a large painting and it took me about 3 months to complete! The muscles on these stallions were a challenge to paint. Bringing out compassion in the eyes also took a lot of effort and love. I hope I have been able to give life to these seven stallions! I use good quality oil paints and canvas. The painting has a smooth and a glaze finish. I focus on details and try to make it realistic. The neutral colour palette I chose for this painting will look good in any room.
