Ever since I can remember I'm drawing. I grew up on a small farm near Venlo in the the south of the Netherlands. The urge to draw finally lead to the Academie voor Beeldende Vorming Tilburg where I graduated in 1990 in drawing and painting. From that time on I am working on a collection paintings and drawings mostly dominated by chairs depicted in very different ways. Perspective and perception are crucial elements in this never ending quest. These works are drawn with pencil or painted with watercolor.
