I grew up in the "North Country," the area of New York above the Adirondack Mountains near the Canadian border. I earned my BFA in illustration from Syracuse University, completed internships with the Florence International Theater Company and Illustration House, then returned to the North and now run my home studio on a freelance basis.
I am a fine artist, book cover designer, and poster artist. I enjoy dabbling in many different styles of artwork and always have several projects going at once. I love to travel, and am often inspired to create artwork from my travels. I work in the style of Modern Impressionism. Modern impressionists seek to capture the fleeting effects of light through loose and expressive brushwork. Creating something beautiful gives me joy and purpose.
