I am a fine artist whose work centers on the human figure, portraiture, and narrative realism. For decades, my focus has been on capturing likeness, character, and emotional presence — whether working in graphite, watercolor, acrylic, or oil. My background spans studio practice, teaching, and commissioned work for private collectors, businesses, and notable individuals. I have spent extended periods living and working in diverse environments, including years on a tropical island, which deeply influenced my sensitivity to light, color, and atmosphere. That experience continues to inform my approach to figurative work and portraiture today. I am particularly drawn to faces, posture, and gesture — the subtle elements that reveal personality and lived experience. My goal is not simply representation, but recognition: creating work that feels timeless, personal, and quietly powerful.
